Crypto Mining Operations Technician

We are looking for a new colleague to help us manage a small farm of bitcoin mining devices. If you enjoy working with computers and hardware, do not hesitate to contact us, we will be really happy to meet you. This position is suitable for students with an electrical / IT background.

What Awaits
you here?

  • Installation and configuration of cryptocurrency mining devices in several locations in Prague and around the Prague area.
  • Equipment inventory management, ensuring adjustments in individual locations - soundproofing, electrical / network cabling, etc.
  • Testing new versions of ASIC firmware on the mining devices.
  • And of course cooperation with your Team Leader, as well as the Development and Product Teams.

Position
REQUIREMENTS

  • Orientation in Linux.
  • Basic knowledge of Bash.
  • The desire to tinker with things, look for different solutions, and stay up to date with assigned tasks.
  • Work well in a team and independently.
  • Proactive approach and passion for learning new things.
  • Ability to work in calm settings or under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.

You have some of the following:

  • Availability to work even on weekends.
  • Experience with Git, network administration.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Owning a personal vehicle for transportation (of course, we will reimburse transportation costs).
  • Practice in a similar position.
  • Experience with Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency mining
