Automate fleet workflows with a centralized system built for large-scale mining operations.

Table of Contents

Running a large-scale mining operation requires consistency, precision, and unified control across thousands of devices. When scheduling tools, maintenance routines, and condition-based logic live in separate systems, operations become fragmented. Teams lose time repeating manual tasks, energy strategies become harder to execute, and maintenance workflows require constant oversight.

To solve this, we are introducing Controlflow as Free Early Access, a centralized automation feature built directly into Braiins Manager. Controlflow consolidates time-based scheduling, rule logic, and targeted actions into a single system that executes reliably and transparently, helping miners reduce labor costs, streamline daily operations, and take advantage of known energy tariff price schedules. This is the first phase of a broader automation roadmap and is available now to all users.

Advanced Automation for Real-World Mining

At the core of Controlflow is a flexible rule system that lets you combine targets, timing, conditions, and actions with the precision required for large-scale operations. Together, these components reduce human error, minimize repetitive tasks, and enable stable, continuous operation across your entire fleet.

Controlflow allows you to define highly specific rules built from four core components that work together to give you precise control over your fleet:

  • Targets: Choose exactly which miners a rule applies to by filtering by location, group, rack, customer, firmware type, device model, or IP range, and combine multiple filters to narrow the selection even further.
  • Time-based Scheduling: Execute actions once or configure recurring routines.
  • Conditions: Optionally, gate rules using real-time metrics like Hashrate, Power, or Temperature, and more.
  • Diverse Actions: Pause, resume, reboot, adjust power settings, or assign customers.

By combining precise targeting, scheduled execution, conditional logic, and a wide range of actions, Controlflow adapts seamlessly to real mining environments. It’s built to automate the recurring tasks that are labor-intensive and introduce inconsistency when handled manually.

Here are some of the workflows Controlflow simplifies from Day 1:

Scheduled Curtailment
You can automate the pause/resume of miners based on your known energy tariff price schedules. This ensures your fleet reacts to high-cost periods without requiring operator intervention, maximizing financial benefits.

Scheduled Power Optimization
Recurring adjustments to Power Target or Power Mode can now be scheduled in advance, allowing operators to run miners more efficiently during peak pricing hours, overclock miners during times of low power rates, or to protect hardware during specific time windows.

Automated Client Management
Hosting providers can eliminate repetitive administrative work by having Controlflow automatically assign miners to customers based on physical location or IP range, particularly useful after onboarding, decommissioning, maintenance, or factory resets.

Routine Maintenance
Coordinated reboots or pause/resume cycles can be scheduled for targeted segments of the fleet, ensuring maintenance windows run smoothly as either one-time operations or recurring routines.

Full Visibility & Control

As operations scale, knowing when things will happen becomes just as important as what will happen. Controlflow provides a complete view of automation behavior across the fleet with its:

  • Rules Table: A central hub to add, edit, enable/disable, and filter rules.
  • Upcoming Events: A calendar view of scheduled actions where you can easily skip or resume events.
  • History Table: Verify past executions to ensure actions performed exactly as expected.

This level of visibility ensures automation remains predictable and aligns with the operational planning across multiple teams and sites.

What’s Coming Next

Today's launch delivers a solid scheduling system and opens the path toward a broader automation platform. Some of the planned enhancements that will arrive in early 2026 include interval-based rules, additional advanced actions and conditions, alerts & notifications, and more!

These additions will unify different forms of automation under Controlflow, strengthening Braiins Manager’s position as one of the leading mining management solutions.

Available Now: Free Early Access

Controlflow is now live inside Braiins Manager and available to all users as Free Early Access. With scheduled routines, targeted actions, conditional execution, and comprehensive visibility, it provides a powerful new layer of operational control.
