Several of the larger general bitcoin conferences have also increased the focus they put on bitcoin mining, in large part thanks to the importance this sector has on the overall bitcoin space. Expect to get plenty of mining content if you attend the Bitcoin Conference, Bitcoin Amsterdam, Baltic Honeybadger, and  BTC Prague.

Any meet up in states where there is heavy bitcoin mining presence is bound to have bitcoin miners attending. We recommend checking out meetups in Texas particularly for this reason. Start with the Houston and Austin meetups if you’re ever in those cities.
